Youth Empowerment Program

Our Youth Empowerment Program (YEP) offers a full array of after-school and summer programming for youth, ages 12-18, and their families. Devoted to the prevention of violence and suicide, YEP fosters social/emotional health, physcial health and academic performance to introduce youth to their own potential and reveal alternative options to violence.

YEP includes direct services in the form of:

  • Academics
  • Vocational Preparedness
  • Cultural Enrichment
  • Academic Support
  • Physical Development
  • Social/emotional services

YEP is staffed by a full-time Program Director and part time staff, including an Athletic Director and Master's Level Lead Youth Interventionist. The program runs for 2.5 hours a day, M-F and one Saturday per month during the school year. It runs for 6 hours a day M-F and one Saturday per month during the summer.
